The trip starts with a drive through the central part of the prefecture of CHANIA for about one hour and a half.

At first we are passing the greenest area of the island full of orange plantations, many streams full with Platania and Kastania trees as well as wild flora that create a unique landscape.

ALIKIANOS, PRASSES, ROUMATA are some of the villages we are passing through until we reach MONI where the bus drop us in order to start our walking tour via AGHIA IRINI GORGE until SOUGHIA village.

Four hours walking, 6km long but ending at the beach of SOUGHIA where we have the opportunity to swim and have lunch in a tavern is a reward at the time.
