The SARAKINA Gorge is one of the many gorges on Crete you can walk.
This gorge is situated on the south east side of DIKTI Mountain range.
We start the trip from the hotel with the bus until the village CHRISTOS where we start the four-hour (6 km) walking.

We 're crossing olive trees and other plantations following the river KRIOPOTAMOS witch ends in the SARAKINA gorge. With help of special equipment the escort will guide you through the gorge.

At the end of the gorge the bus will pick us up to drive us to the south cost at MIRTOS village beach for a short swim before we go back to the hotel.
