Samaria Gorge is designated National Park of particular natural beauty for
Europe and enjoys a strict protection.
It is Europe's longest gorge.

We will depart very early in the morning by coach to OMALOS plateau, at an altitude of 1230 m., where the entrance to the gorge lies. From that point the trail rolls down through breathtaking scenery with very rich vegetation. When approaching the sea we will find ourselves at its narrowest point, 5-6 m wide, where the sides rear vertically up to 500 m above our heads.

After a 5-hour walk, sea bathing and eating at the magnificent beach of AGHIA ROUMELI is an unrivalled experience.
We will return to CHORA SFAKION through LOUTRO with a boat and there we will take the coach and come back through imposing landscapes.
