We are driving through the north coast to the beautiful harbor city Rethimnon, witch we will visit after one hour.
Here we will have a short coffee break .
We continue the trip to the west part direction, before we go on the mountains.We go to the picturesque mountain village Vrises; famous for the traditional prepared thimhonny .
We follow the road through Askifou to the village Imbros, witch is on the entrance of a Magnificent gorge.The imposing walk through the gorge, that will take about 2 or 3 hours, leads us through a wild nature into the village Komitades.
Here you will have the time for a rest, and to enjoy your lovely lunch. The bus will bring you to the village Frangokastello, this is an old Venetian castle, by the Libyan see. There is a possibility to havea cool swim !
After all we continue the road through the village Rodakino and through the wild romantic Kotsifou gorge in the direction Heraklion.
